• As of March 2021 we have garbage and recycling pick up service at the house.  Please review the following requirements:

  • Trash/Recycling pick up is on Monday.  

  • Trash/Recycling cans must be placed at the street no later than 8:00 AM.

  • If your reservation spans or checks out on Monday, please place the cans at the street before departing and before the time above.

  • If you are unable to place cans at the street for Monday pick up, please contact Owner and/or Manager ASAP to make arrangements.  It may be necessary for someone to come into the garage or through the house to access the cans during your stay should alternate handling be required.

If you have excessive garbage and/or recycling or choose not to participate in the above policy, the following will apply to your reservation:

• Collect and remove any excess garbage - more than one large bag for your stay. Your cleaning fee does cover one bag of garbage. 

  • The closest location for you to dispose of your garbage and recycling is to take it to the Shelter Cove disposal site.

    • This site is open Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

    • Take Shelter Cove Road (the main road you came in on) and turn left on Beach Rd - about 1.1 miles from the turn from Upper Pacific onto Shelter Cove Rd. Watch for blue road signs for the garbage disposal. About .4 miles Turn Right onto Telegraph Creek Road. The Disposal site will be about .3 miles down on the left side of the road.

    • The cost per bag is normally $8.95 bring cash.

  • Alternatively, in Redway is the Redway Transfer Station that is easy to get to and pop back onto the highway.

    • Take the Shelter Cove road back to Redway. Turn Left onto Redwood Dr. About 1.5 miles turn Left onto Conservation Camp Rd. Signs along Redwood Dr and Conservation Camp Rd will direct you to the transfer station.

    • This site takes credit card.

    • This location is open Friday - Tuesday, Hours are 9AM - 4PM, except Sunday 12PM - 4PM.

• If you are unable to take your garbage, please make arrangements with Stephanie Andrews prior to your departure. Excess garbage will be charged $30/bag. Please leave your payment for the Housekeeper on the kitchen counter.
