COVID-19 Letter to Guest

Dear Guest,
As of June 19th we have been authorized to reopen under strict governmental and industry guidelines and requirements. Our primary concern is for the health and safety of our support teams, guests and community. As such, the Seadance will adhere to local, county, state and federal guidelines to ensure the safety of all and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 while still maintaining an enjoyable leisure vacation destination. Therefore we ask that our guests and any other persons visiting the Seadance respect and adhere to the guidelines outlined below and within any referenced documents, regardless of personal viewpoints.

Please refer to the Seadance COVID Response Guide binder at the Seadance which can also be found on our website - seadance.net - or on the listing sites for current information pertinent to your stay and how we are adhering and responding to requirements, guidelines and current COVID-19 information.

IMPORTANT: Humboldt County has implemented a requirement that any persons currently staying in any lodging facility and who has been determined by a medical professional to require isolation or quarantine for COVID-19 shall be provided space. As a single family residence, any guests who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 while staying at the Seadance will be required to quarantine in place until released by a medical professional. As a result any or all guests under quarantine will be financially responsible for rents and any other expenses incurred as a result of quarantine during their prolonged stay. Furthermore, any guests with a future reservation affected by a guest required to quarantine in place will have their reservation cancelled immediately and all fees collected by the owner will be refunded in full .

Additionally, if any persons in your party become sick with symptoms or diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to or after your stay, please contact us immediately. If notification is prior to arrival and warrants the cancellation of the reservation we will refund in full any fees collected by the owner. Any notification COVID-19 diagnosis following a stay will be communicated to the Humboldt County Health Officer, to any potentially affected guests, Seadance workers or others who may have come into contact with infected persons or the Seadance. We will not share your personal details except when required.

We have also implemented a 30 hour period between guests check out and check in. This time allows our housekeepers to thoroughly clean, sanitize and disinfect the property between guests using CDC approved products and following the industry, state and federal guidelines. We have moved our check out time to 10:00 AM and can no longer accommodate late check outs or early arrivals without first notifying us at least 24 hours in advance to check out/check in.

As a home rental we offer numerous amenities not typically found in hotels and therefore need your partnership to help maintain a safe environment. We are required to sanitize all amenities and commonly touched items between guest stays. Therefore, we may at any time remove amenities previously found onsite and/or listed on our website or listing site. However, your assistance helps keep the spread of COVID minimized and future leisure travel to the Seadance (and elsewhere) a possibility.
